Project 1 – Keeping It Close To Home

My very first project was the one that gave me the confidence to keep going.

I kept it simple by purchasing in a suburb I knew well, buying a house that was close to home and carrying out a simple renovation that would provide my desired profit without too much effort.

By sticking to a formula of achieving a return of $2 for every dollar spent, I was able to keep my head and not be tempted to go overboard.

The result was that an agent approached us with a buyer, before we’d even set up the staging furniture. We didn’t get time for professional photos of our finished renovation, but we weren’t complaining. We’d purchased, renovated and sold our first project in a period of 4 weeks!
