Renovation Gallery
This renovation of a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home built in 1993 was completed in four weeks. The home was sold prior to the first “home open” so our “staging” was never completed.
Patio before – over the years, rough DIY elements had been added to the patio and plants had been neglected
Patio after – removing shade cloth and dead plants allowed the space to appear roomier and more tranquil
Kitchen before – peach cupboards, green benches and old appliances kept this kitchen firmly entrenched in 1993
Kitchen after – painting the cupboards and bench tops white, adding a stainless steel splash back and installing new appliances brought this kitchen kicking and screaming into the 21st century
Family room before – this small carpeted area felt segregated from the open plan kitchen area
Family room after – by installing new wooden flooring from the front door, through the lounge, dining and open plan kitchen area, the family room appeared larger. Neutral wall paint and down lights added to this perception of space.
Bedroom 4 before – the 1990’s federation decor made this bedroom rather unappealing
Bedroom 4 after – painting the walls in a neutral colour, installing a white timber venetian blind and adding simple furnishings attracted buyers to this spacious room.
Bathroom before – good quality green tiles were a little overwhelming in this 90’s federation bathroom
Bathroom after – by updating the basin and taps, installing modern cupboard handles and placing a white timber blind on the window, this green bathroom was modernised very inexpensively.
